CROSS Training on Sundays, 5:00-7:00pm, for 7th-12th grades
Most Sundays during the school year, our 7th-12th graders join with youth from FCC Rogers for CROSS Training, 5-7pm. "CROSS" stands for Care for each other, Reach our friends with God's love, Offer ourselves in worship, Share in God's Word, and Serve God by serving others. CROSS Training alternates months between FCC Rogers and FCC Bentonville - so in 2012, our January meetings are in Bentonville, in February we will be in Rogers, in March we will be in Bentonville, etc. When we meet in Rogers, we have a church van that will take youth from Bentonville over to FCC Rogers (the van usually leaves from FCC Bentonville at 4:30, returning at 7:15). Special events for CROSS Training are held at WaterWay - like our annual Super Bowl party! CROSS Training meetings start with worship (including music led by our Youth Band), followed by a lesson & small group discussion, and ending with a meal. It's awesome every week - but it would be AWESOMER if you joined us!
Teen Nights on Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm, for 7th-12th grades
Wednesdays during the school year, 7th-12th graders are also invited to "Teen Night" at FCC Bentonville for a meal together, a brief time of worship and singing, and a brief lesson - followed by some time shooting hoops or just hanging out in the FCC fellowship hall for those that want to stick around. Then typically, the last Wednesday of each month is "Teen Night Out" where we hit the town for fun - anything from bowling to catching a movie to going out for dinner. And occasionally, we'll plan a Saturday event like the one here - PAINTBALL! We always have a blast, no matter what we are doing. So don't miss it! JYF for 3rd-6th grades, Wednesdays, 6:00-7:30pm
Weekly meetings for those in 3rd-6th grades also take place 6:00-7:30pm on Wednesday nights throughout the school year. We usually start off having dinner with the Teens, share in a time of music and worship, and then split off into our own group for a brief lesson. Also, in addition to Wednesday evenings, JYF meets the 3rd Sunday of each month for a fun outing. JYF is led by Brandon Smith and some of our great parents! Join Brandon and all the JYF kids for wonderful Christian fellowship and lots of fun each and every Wednesday!
Friends are welcome at any and all youth activities - the more the merrier!
