Character Kids After-School Program
Our Character Kids after-school program offers a safe, fun, loving environment for elementary and middle school kids every day during the school year from 2:30-6:00pm. We even offer all-day care for many of the breaks during the school year (including breaks for those on the year-round school calendar) for parents who need that extra help.
Character Kids offers transportation from all Bentonville public schools for K-6th graders, as well as Cooper Elementary in Bella Vista. Kids are brought back to FCC, where they enjoy a snack, games, and free time... as well as time to do their homework. Most kids have their homework completed before they get home. We have a Game Room (ping pong, air hockey, pool table, & Wii), a reading lounge, and a gym, as well as "Fun Fridays" when we do fun activities at the church or take a field trip... anything from a day at the park to skating or bowling! All of this for just $50/week for full-time kids or $12/day for part-time. It's cheaper than after-school programs through the schools, and you get a whole lot more! Character Kids Summer Day Camp
Character Kids also has an incredible ALL-DAY SUMMER PROGRAM with field trips and fun every single day! We typically go SWIMMING twice each week at the Bentonville pool, plus local activities scattered throughout the summer - everything from trips to War Eagle Cavern and the Wildlife Animal Safari in Gentry, to trips to the library and the movies. When we are not out and about having fun, we are having fun at the church - offering everything from a Game Room (ping pong, pool table, air hockey & Wiis) to a reading lounge for quieter time to the gym... plus plenty of balls and space and playground equipment outside. It's a great way for your kids to still enjoy the freedom and fun of summer, even while Mom & Dad have to work - all in a safe and caring Christian environment. Summer Day Camp is 7:00am-6:00pm every day at a cost of $110 per week, or $25 per day for those who enroll on a part-time basis. Lunch and field trips are included in that cost.
